Breastfeeding Consultation

I am not only a midwife but also an IBCLC professional breastfeeding consultant. This makes breastfeeding one of my main interests and specialties.

I can help you at home, in my clinic, or online via video call (we can decide together which option suits you best) for the following:

Your baby’s nutrition and a good start to breastfeeding
Initiating breastfeeding right after birth
Consultations at any time for difficulties such as: nipple pain, engorgement, mastitis, poor weight gain, reflux, breastfeeding twins
Proper use of formula milk
Correct use of breastfeeding aids such as breast pumps

Feeding rhythms
Balancing breastfeeding and returning to work
Introduction of solid foods alongside breastfeeding
Weaning, whether you want to stop breastfeeding with younger babies or older toddlers

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a consultation last?

During the consultation, I often observe a feeding session and have time to give advice and answer questions. This means the first visit lasts about 2 hours, and follow-ups are shorter, usually between 60 and 90 minutes.

Is it possible to do the consultation online?

Usually, it is possible. In some situation it is better to have a first visit in person then continue online.

What happens after the first visit?

After the visit, I will send a report and a plan for you, then we have a follow up call 3-5 days after my visit.

Do you offer consultation packages?

From experience, I’ve noticed it’s really difficult to know in advance what needs will arise, so I prefer to leave the freedom to decide case by case.
